Contao Open Source CMS 6.0.5

Contao 6.0.5, a new version of the Contao open source CMS, has been released.

The new version of Contao includes all the improvements from Contao 5.7.16. In addition, the tooltips in the backend are now accessible: screen readers can now read out their text. The CSS class names in the Twig templates for two-factor authentication have been corrected. The OutputEncodingMigration no longer fails if a column is missing from a table.

About Contao 6.0

The first stable version of Contao 6.0 has been released on 26 August 2026 and will be the successor to Contao 5.7. 6.0 will be updated until 14 February 2027, after which it will be replaced by Contao 6.1.
