As always, this release contains all bug fixes from the latest 5.3.39. In addition, an issue with displaying the remove button in all file selections has been fixed. Additionally, the backend search reindexing job is now optional, and the var/logs directory is reliably created under Symfony 7.3+.
About Contao 5.6
The first stable version of Contao 5.6 has been released on 18 August 2025 and has been the successor of Contao 5.5. 5.6 will be updated until 14 February 2026, after which it will be replaced by Contao 5.7.
