Contao Open Source CMS 5.5.3

Contao 5.5.3, a new version of the Contao open source CMS, has been released.

As always, this release contains all the bug fixes from the latest 5.3.28 and therefore makes it possible to create new pages again when the database is completely empty. In addition, a bug with the display of icons on the back end login screen has been fixed.

About Contao 5.5

The first stable version of Contao 5.5 has been released on 15 February 2025 and has been the successor of Contao 5.4. 5.5 has been updated until 18 August 2025, after which it has been replaced by Contao 5.6.
