This release contains almost exclusively bug fixes for the back end. These range from adjustments to the integration of Choices.js (the dropdown with the integrated search field) to various CSS fixes and correct authorization checks. Further accessibility improvements have also been made.

About Contao 5.5
The first stable version of Contao 5.5 has been released on 15 February 2025 and has been the successor of Contao 5.4. 5.5 has been updated until 18 August 2025, after which it has been replaced by Contao 5.6.
