Contao Open Source CMS 5.6.8

Contao 5.6.8, a new version of the Contao open source CMS, has been released.

This release fixes an issue caused by the release of a Contao dependency that prevented the installation or update of Contao 5.6.

About Contao 5.6

The first stable version of Contao 5.6 has been released on 18 August 2025 and has been the successor of Contao 5.5. 5.6 will be updated until 14 February 2026, after which it will be replaced by Contao 5.7.
