Contao Open Source CMS 5.6.10

Contao 5.6.10, a new version of the Contao open source CMS, has been released.

As usual, this release includes the bug fixes from the current version 5.3.44.
In addition, it fixes an issue with migrating directly from Contao 4.13 to 5.6 and enables the creation and renaming of Twig page layouts, a new feature introduced in version 5.6.

Changelog of the fixed issues in Contao 5.6.10:

  • #8935 Handle updates from Contao 4.13 in the `OverwriteMetaMigration` (aschempp)
  • #9183 Fix the tooltip flickering in the header bar (zoglo)
  • #8776 Support creating/renaming Twig page layouts in the Template Studio (m-vo)
  • #9140 Fix a wrong JS value iteration (m-vo)

About Contao 5.6

The first stable version of Contao 5.6 has been released on 18 August 2025 and has been the successor of Contao 5.5. 5.6 will be updated until 14 February 2026, after which it will be replaced by Contao 5.7.
