As always, this release contains the bugfixes of the latest Contao 4.13.35. In addition, fewer unnecessary CSRF cookies are set, which improves HTTP caching and the crawling of protected pages from within the back end has been improved. This is a release with massive performance improvements! Especially in combination with the version 6.4.0 of the symfony/http-foundation component released yesterday, page views can be up to 20% faster. An update is therefore recommended.

About Contao 5.2
The first stable version of Contao 5.2 has been released on 15 August 2023 and was the successor of Contao 5.1. 5.2 has been updated until 16 February 2024, after which it was replaced by Contao 5.3.
